About You

You’re a proactive team leader who thrives on organization and precision. With a solid background in inventory management, you’re a natural problem-solver who loves streamlining processes and ensuring everything is in its rightful place. Communication and collaboration are your superpowers, and you have a keen eye for detail that ensures no discrepancy goes unnoticed. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks, lead a team, and maintain high standards makes you an invaluable asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide stock control staff to ensure adherence to procedures and quality standards.
  • Create and manage work schedules, providing training and support to team members.
  • Monitor team performance and address issues promptly.
  • Oversee receiving processes, including inspecting shipments and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure all goods are accurately recorded in inventory systems and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Identify inefficiencies in stock control procedures and implement solutions to enhance operations
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to align stock levels with business needs.
  • Communicate stock availability and shortages effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and OHS regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of all receiving activities and prepare reports on inventory levels and discrepancies for senior management.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of stock control, quality control, and health and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective time management skills.
